#1 High altitude tour - Mühldorf route
This beautiful round tour starts and ends in Weißenkirchen, where you can enjoy the panorama of the Weinviertel and Waldviertel. The route runs via Himberg, Mühldorf and Spitz and is quite challenging with a total of 500 meters in altitude and approx. 30 km. However, you are rewarded with beautiful views and an idyllic downhill ride.
#2 Round tour Krems - Weinzierl am Walde - Weißenkirchen - Dürnstein
The 33 km long round tour leads from Krems via Weinzierl am Walde to the winery towns of Weißenkirchen and Dürnstein and back again. Here you cycle through wooded areas, over idyllic vineyards and enjoy great views of the Danube. On this moderately difficult tour, you cover a total of 664 meters in altitude.
#3 High altitude tour - Jauerling
If you are taking part in the Krone Champions Cycling Marathon or want to work on your personal mountain ranking, you can add a section of the Krone Champions Cycling Marathon to your training plan: the high-altitude tour up the Jauerling. Within the Krone Champions Cycling Marathon the mountain queen and mountain king are crowned in a separate Jauerling classification. The start and end point for this challenging circular tour is in Emmersdorf. This tour requires a fair amount of strength. However, as soon as the 754 meters in altitude have been climbed, you are rewarded with a magnificent view over the Vienna Alps and the Ötscher.
