Are you thinking about taking part in the Wachau Cycling Marathon for the first time or would you like to try a new route this year? Here we present our three routes!
#1 Wachau Light Radmarathon
The Wachau Light Radmarathon is the ideal way to start! On the approx. 50 km long route, you can look forward to the most beautiful sights of the Wachau - but there are also some challenging sections to master! The varied route first leads towards Göttweig, then through the Dunkelsteinerwald forest to Aggsbach and finally along the Danube back to the finish area in Mautern. The fantastic views of Göttweig Abbey, the churches Maria Langegg and Dürnstein are definitely worth your effort!
#2 Raiffeisen Power Cycling Marathon
The Raiffeisen Power Cycling Marathon is just the thing for enthusiastic and motivated cyclists. The challenging 100 km route runs via Weissenkirchen and Mühldorf. Participants are rewarded for their efforts with fantastic views. The route then leads back via Melk towards the finish in Mautern.
#3 Krone Champions Cycling Marathon
At almost 200 km, the Krone Champions Cycling Marathon represents the absolute supreme discipline of the Wachau Cycling Marathon and includes the most challenging sections of the Wachau and the Waldviertel. The challenging route leads over the Seiberer to the Ottenstein reservoir and finally up to the Jauerling. Via Maria Langegg and the Windstallgraben, you reach the finish line in Mautern.
